Technical advice on design, manufacturability and production.

Not every project requires a complete design or fabrication process. Sometimes the main need is to identify the problem, compare the available options and determine the most practical approach.

Moto Industries provides practical technical input on specific challenges, design choices and production decisions.

When design and production are treated as separate processes, valuable practical knowledge can easily be lost.

By keeping the two closely connected, design decisions can be adjusted quickly and experience from fabrication and testing can be fed directly back into the design.

Design for manufacturing

Manufacturing knowledge is brought into the design phase early, considering materials, tolerances, production methods, assembly, cost and quantity before they become problems later in the process.

Technical problem solving

Support for a specific challenge or phase, without the need to hand over an entire project. This can range from evaluating a concept or manufacturing method to solving an existing technical or production issue.

Low-volume & specialist production

Support for projects that fall between one-off fabrication and conventional industrial production, where standard manufacturing methods may be technically possible but not economically sensible.

Manufacturing process & cost considerations

The most advanced manufacturing method is not always the most sensible one. For low volumes or specialist parts, an older or simpler process can often achieve the same result with far less tooling, setup time or investment.

Moto Industries combines modern design and manufacturing techniques with proven conventional methods, selecting the process that makes technical and economic sense for the required quantity.
